Alocasia Reversa

A coveted jewel-alocasia, the Alocasia Reversa is native to Borneo. It was named for its unique coloration pattern, which is supposed to resemble the reverse of what is commonly seen. Though no known species sports this pattern reversed, the name stuck.


Water: water when the top inch or two of the soil is dry to the touch. This variety prefers above-average aeration of its roots, so take care not to overwater. 

Light: prefers medium to bright, indirect light. 

Humidity: requires high levels of humidity.

Temperature: performs best in 65 - 75 F.
