Hoya Carnosa

Hoya Carnosa are native to southeast Asia. These plants produce waxy pink star-shaped flowers with red centers. The genus was named by botanist Robert Brown for his friend and botanist Thomas Hoy. 


Water: allow the top two inches of the soil to completely dry out between watering. Hoyas can tolerate being slightly underwatered, but cannot tolerate being overwatered. 

Sun: prefers ample bright, indirect light.

Humidity: medium humidity. 

Temperature: requires temperatures above 50 F
