Monstera Deliciosa, native to Central America, have become a household icon over the past few years. Mature plants, coupled with bright light, will be more likely to grow leaves with fennestration (splits and holes).
Sun: prefers bright indirect light. A few hours of direct sun is encouraged. While this plant can tolerate lower light levels, it will produce leaves with less fenestrations and may even become leggy as it searches for light.
Water: allow the soil to partially dry out between thorough waterings.
Humidity: household humidity levels okay, but thrives in higher humidity levels.
